When to toss a BB?

How can you tell if a BB is shot? I took my BB out and spun it around...it spun easily and soulded a little gritty. Worth keeping or just toss it?

Well if it "feels" like it's grinding coffee...

beans then it's good to trash. If it's wobbly, or loose then it's good to trash.
