Strongly considering buying a 2step lyric off someone. I've read that the 2step forks are frought with issues. So when the 2 step system blows up, doe it continue to work normally in the fully extended 160mm and just not drop to the 115 position, or are both positions affected.

I've read that a lot of folks replace their 2step with solo air, and didn't know if its basically the same thing as just keeping a non-functioning 2step.
Anyone with experience care to post?

Yeah the fork still functions normally.. well at least mine does! I think the reason people want to switch to the solo just to eliminate the head ache of dealing with fixing it.. to be honest i dont really use mine..
