Learn the balance point and have a solid rear brake (I've moved to four piston XT) that you can feather. If you fall right or left, start slower in a much lower gear. Learn to ride against the rear brake to smooth our pedal strokes. At low speeds and doing tight circles, I'm pedaling against the brake more than gravity.

Wheelies are such a badass universal trick...I get 70 year old guys that ask me about my fat bikes, then pat me on the shoulder and remind to stay young and never stop riding wheelies. 😀 I know, I'm 44 and way past my college skills.
This modern geometry is killing me, the old bikes and fatbikes can wheelie forever. My 2020 Fuse with "modern" geometry and 29s can spin, I have zero leverage.
