I am looking to get a new set of wheels for my '10 Rockhopper mostly so I can switch from v brakes to disk. I have been eyeballing a set on BWW they are the Mavic 719 w/ sch xt hubs for 259. So what do you guys think? I'm 6'2" 240 just starting to get back into it and ride trails on the North Sore in MA. Here is a link thanks for the info. Oh also if I did get these would they be worth it to take with me to my next bike?

Have you looked at the DT-Swiss EX-500 rim? It's a 21mm internal width as compared with the 19mm internal width for the XM 719. At your riding weight, the additional width would give better support to your tires.
