I really like the Sugoi RS. I have worn them for several years. One pair will last a long time and the pad is good for the 5+ hour rides. No issues. I am also 6ft 4 and the bibs fit my long torso without giving me a moose knuckle.
It really looks silly riding around in team garb.... but the Hammer Nutrition bibs are the best quality and value that I've found.
Check it out, and it's a great local MT company always hooking us up for local races and such!!
I've tried (cheap) Pearl Izumi, Castelli, (cheapish) Sugoi, Louis Garneau and Etxe Ondo bibs. I like Etxe Ondo the best. Even their inexpensive shorts are nice. Everything they make is nice. Check 'em out. http://www.etxeondo.com/en/index.php
Our team kit two years ago was Champion. Their bibs had a nifty synthetic chamois/pad that took me some getting used to. I've been wearing some really old (late 80's) Descente bibs and the chamois are holding up.
Last year we switched to Twin Six and they didn't have bibs. Now they do, so I'm looking forward to giving them a try.
