I pulled this off my Hutch Pro-Raider frame set when I got it a year or two ago. I found it the other day and decided it would work better than the sloppy steel ones I had for the front of the klunker (45-50lb bike, I don't think I'm ever going to have enough brake). I don't have a clue what it is, there's no branding anywhere that I've seen, so, did I find something actually worth having or just a trick looking department store piece?

The bike so far, I don't have any chains that aren't too small or stretched beyond believe right now, needs a front tube, rear brake and the derailleur set up anyway.

My guess would be an Odyssey, but the cutouts don't jive with what I remember Odyssesys to be. Try asking on vintagebmx.com. There are some WAY knowledgeable people over there.

Yeah...I'm not giving anyone 25 bucks to view a forum, sorry. :nono:

You have to pay to view the forum? I've never had to do that, but I've been a member there for quite a while. I wonder when they changed that?
Yeah, they want a $25 "Deposite" they think that'll weed out the ass hats and make it a nicer forum. I was a member a couple years ago, but I've long forgotten what user name/password or even what e-mail address I would have used. It's a real shame, it was a great forum when I left the vintage BMX scene.

Hmm...there's no casting marks of any kind in the arms, they're as smooth as the front. The washer between the arms and the jam nuts is marked with something starting in Vana- I think the next letter is a U but I'm not sure.
