Anybody been up that way and thru the whole stretch from Silverplume to Montezuma or vise versa? Thinking that I'd like ta make the trip out there this week, or I'll be waiting till mid July before my next op. Still had snow banks 5-6' last week closer to my neck of the woods.

I'm hoping to head up that way one day this week, probably Thursday or Friday. Probably only as far as Waldorf Mine. Will report if I go.

Tried to drive up webster pass but the gate was closed for spring runoff. There is still a lot of snow up high. I doubt that argentine pass would be clear all the way but you never know. Might have to hike-a-bike and posthole a bit but anything is possible

Didn't have any ooomph left to trudge through the drifts....

I was looking over that way yesterday from Saxon Mountain thinking it was time for a ride up to the top of Pendleton. I don't know it looks like the snow fields are still quite large above timberline. FAT Trail should be open
