So the Pace fits those big treads, eh? Nice.
Kelly promised his fork would fit them with room to spare, but he didn't mention that it would take some liberal grinding.
Sat was my first ride ever on a rigid fork on real MTB trails. What a beat down my arms got from the stutter/braking bumps going into corners. In the bumps it helped to go faster but every now and then there would be this really big bump that would no joke rattle my teeth. A couple of times I felt the front wheel sort of vibrate or chatter front to back when I had to get heavy on the front brake in the bumps. The fork was very stiff other wise. I would in now way shape or form say that this fork flexes too much. There are some really crappy lawyer tabs on the dropouts too. I will file them off soon.
29" front wheel: I was suprised that the 2.3 fit. I was even more supriesed that it wasnt all chopper and raked out. I still need to ride the bike with a 26" wheel a couple of times to comment on the 26/29 setup.
