Have yet to get a real answer from Manitou. Whats the deal with the Platnium Air 100 and sudden hydrualic lock-out? They claim its a problem with torque-spec on the assembly line, but I don't know. Just had one rebuilt under warranty, and while it is much better I'm very curious how long it will last.
I'm not a lightweight rider, and although I do most of my riding on pavement I've found I'm very hard on my bike (is there such a thing as extreme commuting?). Anyways, probably won't upgrade this fork, but curious if anybody knows the real issue.
