Is it similar to WD-40, or is it actually compatible with chains? Based on what I'd been told, I had hoped it would exhibit similar high scribe-resistance strength characteristics to that touted by the bike chain lube Purple Extreme. But now I'm not so sure...

Anyone had much experience with the stuff? It's made in Australia (where I live), so not sure if it's commonly available in the rest of the world.

I don't want to wear my drivetrain out in pursuit of this knowledge!

I've use it before. Also RP7 and similar. All wet lubes attract the dust (and there's plenty of that at the moment) and it will dry out as it gets dusty. I wash my bike, degrease and relube every second or third ride anyway, so I don't bother with expensive chain lubes.
