What's d best UST tires for Road/Touring

I ride mostly on the road with my buddies and all of them are running slick tires except me. My crossmax sl ssc with michelin 2.0 xc never had flat tire and retaining air impressively well and it is difficult for me to give up this convinience and tires set up but I'm always far behind them and very much tempted to give it all up instead. Although I have spare mavic with XT hubs and cogs but not set up for disc. Any advice would be very much appreciated and happy holidays!
