What year is my Mono?

My dad gave me his old DHS Mono. I'm trying to figure out what year it is. I think it's 2003 or older, the serial number starts with a 3, I read somewhere that's typically the year. Thanks for any help.

It's a 2001, looks like a large to me.

Awful nice of your dad to give you such a nice bike. It'll ride really nicely (as you've probably already found out!) and if you look after it it should last you a while yet. I had a 1999 mono for nearly 5 years and it was still going strong when I parted company with it.
