i bought this about 6 years ago from my friends gf for $600 (complete bike). it has been receiving parts from my squishy over the years and is as you see it now. i believe it had been updated by my previous owber as well. i still ride it quite a bit (thus the dirt). last big ride was porcupine rim in moab (as a loop from town).

my future plans include a ss conversion and possibly repaint.

oh yeah... it was built in ny

The rear seat stay bridge has a canti stop. Pre 1997

Serial number will help.

Yo Eddy! medium/large

a # in 1000 indicates 1 inch steerer
a # in 2000 indicates 1-1/8" steerer

1-1/8 was an innovation for '97, Chameleon fade was new for '96, hence 1996 seems plausible
