Currently have the factory DT Swiss X420SL that came on my '11 Stumpy FSR.

Specs:
Front hub: 9mm thru-axle QR using RWS.
Rear hub: QR (Non-RWS)

I have a wheelset on the way with Chris King ISO hubs, front is two-piece 100mm QR and rear is 135mm QR/FB.

I assume I cannot use my front DT RWS 9mm TA skewer on the front CK. Is there any other skewer recommended?

And about the Funbolts, is it just the ability to get the skewers tighter?

I'm still a bit lost in the the QR/TA lingo.

They don't make a 9mm TA conversion kit (that I know of). Itt shows that it is only convertible between QR/15mm TA.

On the Upgrade & Conversion Options for the ISO front hub, Option 4 indicates the hub is convertible to QR and 15mm Through Axle. Hub Specs | Chris King Precision Components. You might want to call Chris King to confirm. I see Universal Cycles offers the conversion kit for $70.

Yes, QR and 15mm TA, but the DWS is a 9mm TA.

Sorry, my brain has been telling me it is time to shut down, and I have been ignoring it.
Sounds like you will either need to return your front wheel, swap the hub for a 9mm TA, or get a different fork.

Yeah it seems like it will take too much extra effort/money to get the correct axle.

Going to ditch that wheelset for Hadley 9mm TA Front and 10mm TA rear on Flows. Now I just need to order them and then measure out the spoke lengths.
