i have an 07 stp and have a 36 tooth on the front and 11-28 on the back and i want to keep the 36 tooth on the front and make it a single speed but dont know wat tooth size to put on the back and i want to dj on it/ thx for your help

55 gear inches feels pretty good for street/park/dj and is common in the BMX world.

BMX OS 44/16x20 = 55
BMX Mid 36/13x20 = 55.4
BMX Micro 25/9x20 = 55.5

thus
26" 36/17x26 = 55.1
24" 36/16*24 = 54

2 to 1 is 26" XC gearing and a little low. I think you'll be pretty happy if you get close to 55.

alright because i was kind of looking for simplicity and weight loss/ my 07 stp weighs 32lb, if i take all the shifting crap off how much do you think it would weigh??
