I know this forum is for trails etc, but I was hoping to get some local input.

I need a new front tire, and the riding over here is different than the alpine type trails around Vail etc.

Wondering what some good fronts are to consider for riding around Kokopellis etc.

thanks for any input. I was running the Velociraptor, but the large lugs are getting torn off on the rocky/dry terrain.

I recently switched to Maxxis Ignitors due to problems caused by hitting rocks at high speeds with Crossmarks. The ignitors seem to work well no problems yet they were recommended as tire of choice by more than one local wrench.
