tires
Hey there!, If you've never ridden @ Mount Snow, the bulk of the clims are fire roady and the woods sections, up and down, very rocky and rooty. Descents, especially at race pace, are pretty rough. The trails see so much traffic that there is little in the way of forrest litter or the like. The mountain's newest tool is a killer leaf blower to clean or buff what eversmooth dirt exists between the rocks. That being said, your choice of tires should reflect the amount of rain and or traffic the trail has been subjected to before you race. One year the semi-slicks seemed appropriate unitl the rain started before the race. Other years it was fairly obvious that it was going to be a mudfest. Roots, Rock, Reggae!
