Hey all,

I am building a new Spider for my wife's x-mas present. How do I know what spidle width I need for the bottom bracket? The size is small and I am using FSA ISIS triple cranks.

Thanks for any help

The spindle length is normally determined by the crank, not the frame. The exception is if you happen to run a frame with 150mm rear hub spacing, or if your crank places the granny too far left for the derailler to clear 34.9mm seat tubes.

I'm guessing 113mm, since that's the ISIS standard for 135mm rear spacing. You need to buy the 73mm BB shell version.

Ole.
