165mm is the way to go!Tidan said:Cool. Thanks! I don't know why I couldn't find that info anywhere...
Any crank recomandations that will work well with the sunday?
Since I'm 6'4" I tend to lean towards 170 for DH. Otherwise I feel like a circus side show freak...Or like the monkey on the little mini bike. ;-)ska todd said:165mm is the way to go!

Thanks for the tip on posting. However, I'm more interested in what cranks work best with the sunday, i.e. clearance, and what not. This was a real problem on my M3, I'm hoping the Sunday will be more flexable!scepticshock said:Emocons man, emocons!![]()

Try running your question over at the DH freeride forum. You should get more play over there.![]()
aaaaack, please don't use the term "flexable" when describing bikes!!Tidan said:Thanks for the tip on posting. However, I'm more interested in what cranks work best with the sunday, i.e. clearance, and what not. This was a real problem on my M3, I'm hoping the Sunday will be more flexable!

Thanks for the info! Do you know which model Saint crank to look for for use on the Sunday?dante said:aaaaack, please don't use the term "flexable" when describing bikes!!
any of the current DH cranks that fit an 83mm shell fit the Sunday. the RF Diablous are relatively indestructible, saints are almost as strong and lighter and the holzfellers have a slick new interface allowing you to swap bb sizes if you ever need to. haven't had time on the FSA mega-exo gravity's (yet), but the ISIS version was tough and relatively light.

single-ring, if you go for the 3 ring and grind down the granny you might get spacing issues... (whistling innocently)Tidan said:Thanks for the info! Do you know which model Saint crank to look for for use on the Sunday?
Thanks!
Do they come in different spindle sizes too?dante said:single-ring, if you go for the 3 ring and grind down the granny you might get spacing issues... (whistling innocently)
just go for the one with an 83mm bb shell, and stay with 165mm length unless you don't like your pedals very much.![]()
You want the FC-M805-1 model.Tidan said:Do they come in different spindle sizes too?
Thanks a bunch for the tips!
I can find the M805-1 but not the "FC" M805-1.Dogboy said:You want the FC-M805-1 model.
Looks like it should work, and I think it comes as a complete set. No havingDogboy said:FC is just Shimano's designation for a crankset.
