I've been training for the leadville 50 since January. The last 3 weeks I've taken it up and really been putting the miles on. On average of about 20-25 a day. I was told to stop today giving me 3 days of recovery before saturday. I'm bored to death, do I just chill and stay hydrated? Eat anything special? What now?

What do you normally do before races? Do that...

If you haven't raced before I suggest doing a 45 minute, low intensity, high cadence cardio workout each day to keep your muscles toned up. You aren't going to get any stronger before Saturday and you need to avoid any potential damage.

Don't change your eating habits but be sure to up your fluid intake Thursday and Friday, enough to make you pee annoyingly often...

Good luck!

Excellent advice.

You want your personal energy tank full to the brim. No fatigue in the body at all.
