Well, I put down my vote for "core". I eat right, and train year round, except I'm training for cross country ski racing in the winter, which is actually the time of year when I'm in my best shape. And my results are not "core", probably closer to middle of the pack. At the end of the day, I race because its fun. I guess I'm somewhere in between.

I voted moderate, but I'm fast, I just could be faster if I ate right more often and trained more often. School work and icecream and candy binges make for a slightly slower Ito.

Really though, if you aren't having fun, what's the point? I love racing though, it's fun to show up and have people go "oh no, not him again" :D. It's even more fun to finally beat that guy or girl that kicked your ass at the previous race.

the one about the beer calories

I like to race myself up Tam. I time myself from my house to the top. It was taking me 1:18. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't beat that time. I did it for the first time on my single speed last week and it took me 1:11. Strange eh? I was slower on my geared bike.

Casual is me.

I'd like to be faster, but don't push the training through the Fall and Winter. And I have other pursuits.

Hurts so good.
