So right now I have had a trek marlin 7 for about a year. It is a decent bike but not really built for what I like to do. I like to go on trails and do jumps, but I also like to ride street and do stunts like 180s and endos. I was looking at a specialized p3, but it is a single speed and I would like a bike with gears. What would be a good bike that can handle practicing tricks like 180s, but can also go on dirt trails and do jumps? And what are some rims that can handle a pretty good beating?

Thanks!

Generally bikes built for dirt jumping and tricks are single speed like BMX and dirt jump bikes.

Polygon Trid ZZ has a 7 speed DH group set but this isn't really going to help climb hills much.

If you want proper mountain bike gearing you are probably going to have to give up some trickablity and get a short travel trail bike or a trail hardtail. You can still do tricks and jumps on a trail bike but they are a bit bigger and heavier and less manoeuvrable. You could always get 2 bikes, one for dirt jumping/street tricks and one for trail riding.
