I just did a full 200 hour service on my damper version 1 fallowing the old instructions but the new instructions say not to replace the bladder and several internalseals. i called rockshox and they said they dont recomend doingit at the 200 hour service because people kept messing it up and most of the seals dont wear. My buddie just bought a full service kit that comes with a bladder, should i just do it? I have all the tools to do it right and not mess it up and i already did mine. Or should i just fallow their new instructions? I would hate for his bladder to blow out but it's definitely more time consuming to do the bladder.

Keep it for a spare. You're more likely to cause an issue swapping it than anything else.

Just bleed it. Keep the original bladder until you have issues. I have a few bikes with Charger and Charger 2 dampers that I've bled a number of times without issue.

Sounds good, if he everblows the bladder then I will do it for him. Just bleed with plush 3wt and relace everything in the newest instructions.
