If you loved Targhee, put Silver Mountain on your list. It’s raw. They have a lot of trails that feel like Blondie- rough cut, off camber, hand-built. Lines are short, and the vert is big.
Silver is a blast. Go for the riding but not the nightlife, lol. Go pee before you load the gondola because it's like a 30 minute ride. Pizza slices for $1.

Tamarack was fun this summer (at least until I went OTB and sprained my shoulder). No lift lines.

This:

Leads to this:

With this exit move (about a 4' drop):

Here's looking up at a cool off-camber squirrel catcher:

I liked this gap:

I sat down for a beer at the snack yurt and saw that something else wanted a snack too:

Deer Valley is my home park. Pretty big park with lots of trails. Also has some pretty heavy breaking bumps on some trails right now. Good park though.
Sundance i went to first time yesterday. Good park for a family that really has never done lift service before. Mostly Green and light blue trails.

Sun Peaks is on the list if I head to BC. The BC list of rides is really long. I really want to ride the North Shore.
We had a blast at Deer Valley. The wife loved Holy Roller and says it's her favorite trail ever. My son and I had a great time on the black trails. I wish we had ridden more of the double-blacks though.

We did Undertow which looked amazing on the videos, but the braking bumps beat us to hell.

My experience is limited to the BC parks. (Whistler, Sunpeaks, Golden, Revelstoke and Silverstar). Of those I enjoy sunpeaks the most. It wins in the trail to people ratio.

I absolutely love BC and can't wait until we can return there for some awesome riding again. Big White looks very interesting.

Killington

I use to go to Highland but I switch to Killington They have so many trails and for all level. They call it the baby Whistler of the East coast. I’m so sad we couldn’t go this year because of covid.

+1 for Silver but trails were pretty blown on by Aug when I was there this past year, the year before that in June was much better so not sure if it's a maintenance issue or the trails are just changing.

Super raw, hard to carry speed and keeps you on your toes....and lots of square edged rocks, good times.
