What is up with Specialized tires and availiblity?

are you checking with your LBS or just going by the consumer specialized site? i've had a few times where the consumer site showed out of stock but my LBS placed an order through their dealer site and had the product in the store within 7-10 days.

Need to have your local Spec store check stock. Sometimes the web is incorrect and sometimes the stores have tires the web does not.

im bummed they discontinued the chunder 2.3" 2bliss control tire. My favorite tubeless tire.

Definitely check with your local Specialized dealer. Specialized places priority on their dealers when it comes to product availability. So if they are running a bit low on stock for a popular item, they will tag the item in question as "out of stock" on their website, but may still have them available for their dealers. It's a way or protecting their dealers and ensuring that they have the stock that they want/need.
