not sure if ill be much help but ive never had any problems running any 2.35 tires that i have tried...so far i have run nevegals, sb8, high rollers, and ignitors all in the 2.3-2.35 size with no issues..not sure how big your trying to go tho...
I tried a 2.4 Maxxis ADvantage and it was a no go, the volume is way to high so the tire is too tall. I have a 2.35 nevegal at home so its nice to know that will fit.
yeah the 2.35 nev fits and works pretty well for this bike as an all-arounder. I'm going to throw a 2.35 SB8 on the rear this summer and see if the decreased rolling resistence is worth the decreased grip...
