i am looking at the azonic fiend frame and i am wondering if it is a good investment. Or is there something better for that price.

I've never ridden a fiend, only viewed pictures, so I can't speak for it, but there are several excellent bikes in that price range. If I were you, I'd spend more time looking.
maybe post up here more specifically what you are looking for exactly. what geometry/size, uses/applications, materials, what fork you will use, what size wheels, what brakes, etc. then people can have a much easier time recommending
well i am fairly new to the sport. But i would be puting dirt jumper 3's on the bike with 6 inch disk breaks. I will be running a 26 inch wheel with most likly a 2.3 tire on it. and i will use the bike for street dirt jumping and trail riding. I am not sure about the geomentry but the size of the bike would be a medium. I am about 5'11" and 150 pounds
Don't get the DJ3 unless it's an o6. Tall, heavy, flexy, crap dampening, limited adjustments.
To late i already have them they are on my kona right now. They are not the best but they are good enough for me right now like i said i am a beginner. And i have noticed those defaults.
well, you really dont need a azonic fiend for DJ/street/trail. its kind of overkill. I think the fiend was more designed around DH/FR type riding tho I could be wrong. there are tons of frames out there in your pricerange. look into maybe the lenosky edition STP frame from Giant. Kona cowan, Specialized P. series, norco supercross frames ...they're all good and usually are a lot less expencive than the fiend.
thanks for the advise i will go and cheak those frames out
