I have a Transition Vagrant with a domain 318 u-turn on it, i use it as a do it all bike, including DJ. It works well, but i never really change any settings when i drop the travel for the DJs. I want to see what it feels like to have a properly set up (or as close as i can get) suspension for the DJs
Usually not a whole lot of give unless you hit something real hard. They're firm to prevent bob and to prevent the lips from sucking up all your energy.
I like my rebound quick. I like a little plushness though... I like it to feel more like a mountain bike than my 20".
...I've been on the same fork for almost a year now and after riding mostly street with some park and a little dirt, it is still running like a champ. The rebound still works, the platform works and it doesn't leak any air at all. It's been through a lot while I was progressing... Just take care of it and you could ride the same fork for a couple of years.
