what Hardtails come w/ 31.6 seattube and standard headset?

Not sure if you were looking for seat tube diameter or seatpost diameter, but I'll chime in.

I just built up my '03 Salsa Bandito which comes with the standard 1 1/8" headset and takes a 31.6 seatpost. Came in at 19-something pounds according to the LBS, which isn't bad for a 20" I would think. My buddy swears it's lighter, but I'll probably swing by the shop in a couple weeks and throw it on their digital scale. I've also been slacking on posting pics, but I'll get around to that soon too!

I am pretty sure the Stumpjumper has a 31.6 seat tube, its also one of the most common hardtails. I thought the Bandito had a 27.2 seat tube?

I think my Klein Attitude has a 31.6 OD post. I'm assuming that when you say standard diameter headset, you mean 1 1/8 right? If so, then the Attitude should be on your list. If you mean 1" headset is standard, never mind...

30.9mm in the Stumpjumpers. Maybe they've changed in more recent years. But I was going to recommend Klein.

the one you have pictured. The SIR9 takes a 27.2mm post. The rest of them (the aluminum and scandium models) take a 31.6mm post though.

Can I be the one to ask why it matters?

If it's because you already have them, I personally wouldn't limit myself because of a seat post.

All Fisher hardtails used to have a 31.6 seatpost. I might even have an extra one kicking around.

Older Kleins and GT's were 31.6 as well. Seems like it is not as common these days. Which stinks 'cause I have a good collection of 31.6 posts.

My Ridley Cobra has that setup. It's carbon though....

Nope, my '03 (Bandito) has the 31.6. Not sure if the other years had a different size or not.

i have a fetish for 31.6mm seatposts and im sick and tired of dicking around with this stupid integrated headset on my Orbea....which is for sale BTW...

well, i guess the search for a Klein will commence. thanks for the replies guys!
