There was a frame shown a couple of years ago that had a proprietary idler/chain guide that articulated and acted as a front derailleur. I believe it was a high pivot and the top idler moved in and out to switch the front ring position. I haven't seen it again and can't recall the maker.
Does anybody remember this?
