what fork to buy?

I need a 180mm travel single crown freeride/dh fork. I have a 200mm 888 now and its so overkill for what I do. It soaks everything up and the only time I use it to its full potential is when I going over 40mph over rock terrain. The rest of the time it is slow and extra weight. I love the quick turning feel of a single crown. The newer marazocchi 66's are very problematic, I need an 07' but they are very had to find. The seals suck on rockshox, and the two step totom is stupid IMO. Manitus blow and fox doesn't have a 180mm. What do I do? is there a reliable rockshox out there? I need a simple fork that has compression and rebound, thats all I need. thanks

As you are clearly aware, you need to pick the less of the evils:

2010 Zocchi 66 - new disign, lighter, but no idea on reliability (last two years have been shyte). Excellent feel when working. Keep a spare?

2010 Totem - when not puking oil very good. Keep a supply of seals handy?

2010 RS Lyric - only 170mm, but been fairly reliable w few seal probs.

the totem coil looks great but holy **** $1000 I rather have a YZ250
I have a dream that one day my son can walk into a bikeshop and buy a bike that doesn't cost as much as a new mx bike. He will buy chain lube that isnt just $14 repackaged synthetic oil, he can buy a bike that will not be replaced by a new design every year, a bike that doesn't lose 75% of its value in three years.
