at these moment im using a mavic chain ,it has worked perfect but it really wears the crank specialy the midle plate (thats the one that i use the most) .
i have also used some shimano HG but all kept breaking in no time .
i have read about SRAM and was wondering if their chain is any good so if anybody can give me some info on these or any other chain or ,if is the case, if you think that i should stay with the mavic .
im 175 pounds and ride agressive XC or marathon

Don't know about "Best Chain" but I personally have always used SRAM chains, I prefer the older PC-59,PC69 chains but since it is so hard to find those anymore I have had to go with there newer one's like the PC-991 and it seems to be fine. I have never broken or had any type of problems with a SRAM chain. Don't have any experience with Mavic chains, and many other's like Shimano chains. Try a search for "Chains" and you might get more info.
