Some buddies and I are planning a trip during the MLK jr. holiday. The Tsali campground is closed. What is nearby and open?

Cable Cove

I think cable cove is open year round, it's between tsali and fontana

Try Turkey Creek or Tumbling Waters Campgound

My friends and have stayed at both of these places. Turkey Creek is very close to the Tsali campground. Tumbling Waters is a little farther down the road.

I prefer TW over TCreek--the people/owners are nicer, the showers are hotter, and the owners make breakfast in the morning!

Both campsites have websites. Do a Google search using the title and Tsali in the same search.

Let us know how the riding is at Tsali. I have heard the trails are in rough shape!
