I want to get a new bike since I've started riding trails and my Trek 3700 has started falling apart.

I'm looking for a bike that can do:

Drops, at least 3 feet onto concrete.

Go down stairs.

Dirt jump.

Ride trails.

Not break.

And be able to be ridden on daily commutes.

I'm interested in the SC Chameleon right now, but what other suggestions do you guys have?

I can't afford anything over $1100 so I may have to buy used.

look for a steel hardtail. DMR has a few offerings that will suit most of those needs.

it will however be very very hard to find a frame that does dirtjumps and trail rides equally good ;)

there are more good brands out there, but i would look towards a DMR steelframe first

or just pony up for a used full squish

it's all relative if you're just looking to poke around doing all sorts of riding
