We put together funky bikes! Actually, this was a really fun project that I do intend to ride. It will be an awesome commuter. I also posted some pics in the 29er forum as well.

I haven't ridden much other than a couple loops around the parking lot; this will more than likely be a pub-crawler and commute bike. Don't know that it will ever see dirt.

But, yes...29ers handle great. I;ve got a couple others in my stable. Since you have more contact with the ground, they tend to climb, descend, and corner with a ton of stability.

Head tube angle is perfect.

Very cool!

I just happened to come across the Haro forum and saw this. It looks awesome! The only thing I'd change is the Juicy brakes. The levers just look out of place to me with those master cylinders sticking way out. It's personal preference of course but I think it's look far better with some mechanical Avid discs and Avid or other mech. levers.

Classy ride Jilly. You can tell ya put some thought into it. I have a cross bike now built with mtb bars and i am switching over the stuff to a 29er frame. so I can have a imperfect cross bike, while getting the luxury of swapping it into a trail, cruiser, road machine with a rim/tire swap any time and i already have most all the goodies so i am anxious to see how it goes. green and brown like mine too thats nice, Rock lobster, not Haro though. Great bike.Great service.

Muchas gracias! It was a fun project. I might bring something similar into the line next year, but don't know that it will have all the high-end stuff on it. We'll see what kind of cool accessories we can dig up.
