im trying to decide on a used 2008 fisher x caliber which was barely ridden for 1000 or a 2008 cannondale f3 which has some miles on it for 800. Are these worth the asking price and which is the better buy? thanks

bikes are worth what the buyer will pay. There is no way one can determine any kind of price without knowing the market, seeing the bikes, etc etc. Check local listings and go from there, that's the best you will do.

I purchased my '08 X-Cal in December of '08 for $1,200.00 or $1,300.00 after taxes. Check for reflectors and pie-plates on the wheels. If they're still on,its likely that the seller really hasn't ridden it many miles. I would say 850-1050 seems fairly reasonable for the X-cal. The F3 I have no idea about.

Can you guys tell me how much this used bike is worth? Its a lightly used 2009 Cannondale F7 w/ Tora 318 Solo Air. Bike has only been used about two hand full of commuting rides.

remember the C'dale is 800-900 new..I dunno what an xcal cost's new but 800 doesn't seem unreasonable though I'd try for 650 but pay the 800 if it came to it.. I would take the GF over the C'dale any day...that G2 fox fork on ebay are bringing over 400 to 550 so a frame and build for 300-400 seems reasonable...F3 with headshock I just dunno...right now on ebay 07 C'dale F3 BIN 650 so someone must like them

That X-cal doesn't look like it has more the 20 miles on it. I used the stock saddle on mine for ~50miles and the black had worn off almost completely. Like I said earlier, 800-1000 bucks for the x-cal is a good deal.
