I have to ask cause I saw them listed on the primitive map they handed me while camping there last weekend. If its what I hope it is, great cause Me and my boys will be camping at Vail again when it cools down to ride that area. Thanks

No shuttles at Vail Lake, at least not yet anyway.
I believe the "shuttles" you see marked on the map are just fireroads that allow enough room for a vehicle.

I have parked my truck halfway up so it's easier to back to it after I have exhausted myself, my bike and the trails. Vails dh lines are as long as the lines up in Wildomar and those can be shuttled.

I have driven my Yamaha Rhino around the whole fire trail. Next time I will have my wife shuttle us, I just got a bike rack for it.

I live in Lake Elsinore, I would like to go on some rides with you but it seems like you are into the DH and I do more of XC. Don't get me wrong, I would love to get into it myself but just dont have the bike for it or the guts! Then again maybe with some pointers from a more experienced rider, I might be ok. I will be camping at Tahoe and Yosemite next week along with some friends for the first time. I have my eyes set on Northstar will see if my bike can handle it (Giant Trance X).

My bike usually fails as in suspension during climbs at the Farm or Vail. I'd rather shuttle Vail than climb. Have fun up there ....
