Okay, similar to other forums, but this Q is not wether it's good or bad.

What's the difference between all products in the Elixir line?

Elixir CR have Reach and Contact adjustments.
Elixir R is similar to the CR but without the contact adjustment, but any other differencce in caliper or lever?
Elixir 5 and 3, what are the differences?

I have asked the same question some time ago. I have Juicy 3's on my Trek, and think they work fine. I honestly, other than features do not see how a bottom line juicy or any other brand, running brand x pads, and brand y rotor, will stop any better than running high end brakes using the same pads and rotor?

Difference is the adjustments avail on the lever, weight and materials. The higher priced Elixers start incorporating carbon bits into the package. Also with the Elixer X0/XX is that they use an aluminum backing plate on the brake pads to cut weight, vs the regular steel backing plate found on the other Elixers.
