I just made a stem and post swap on my med sir niner, went to a layback post with short stem (90mm), wow what a nice change, the bike feels like it fits perfect, much better position, at least for me...just wanted to share in case anyone else was thinking about the same set-up...cheers!:thumbsup:

I use a Thomson laid back post and 90mm stem on my XL Sir9 and my Astrix Monk. By far the shortest stems I have ever used and position/handling are perfect.

The Thomson really doesn't provide much setback. I like mine though. I'm going to try someone's medium Sir9 this weekend. I wanted to see how it fits and rides...

Q - How far does the set back seatpost set back?
A - The 10° set back angle gives about 5/8 inch or 16mm of set back.
