Building up my first bikepacking rig and all I need now is a fork (120mm).

Esker Japhy
WTB Kom Tough
WI CLD hubs

My locals LBS has a RockShox SID Select in stock. I have a SID Ultimate on my trail bike, so I’m familiar with the SID line. I can get the SID for about US$600. He’s also got a couple of Yaris in stock.

I’ve looked at the other brands, and the SID seems like a good middle ground in terms of price-features.

My priority is reliability, obviously, as I do plan on taking remote multi-day trips on the bike.

What other forks do you guys like in terms of reliability?

Thanks!

If reliability is the most important aspect then I wouldn't get a fork with a damper that uses a bladder just in case so I would do a Fox Performance with the regular grip damper or depending on budget the Fox Factory with the grip2 damper, Rockshox forks that don't use a bladder have the Motion Control damper and they are terrible imo so I would avoid them
