Congrats man It’s ok, I’m down in the 180’s myself… still gotta ride these huge XL & XXL bikes though which is a disadvantage in itself sometimes.

Oh but don't worry. I am staying here in the Clyde forums. i guess I am a Clyde at heart :D(y) Sure feels great to be back in great shape again.
Congrats, that's awesome! Amazing how much weight some people carry around and the unbelievable strain that puts on your body. I get out of shape a bit in the winter. Typically gain any 10 lbs and it's amazing how noticable it is. Feels so much better when you're not carrying extra weight.

If you haven't done so already, and I don't wanna come off preachy, but stretching will make you feel better too ... I've always been in pretty decent shape, but I never stretched. About a year ago I made a conscious effort to stretch everyday, and it's made a huge difference pretty much in everything I do. It just feels better walking out of bed in the morning, and it's definitely made me a better rider.

Thanks man. In my teens, 20's, 30's I could lose weight at the blink of an eye. After 40 is when it slowed down and out of nowhere I gained like 50-55 lb. I went in to a depression that was rough. I had zero incentive to work out and stopped riding for a couple of years. Then I Iit a fire under my own ass and got to it. But I did it slow and gradual. Took about 2 years and I am at 193 now. Goal is 185. I know it doesn't sound like a lot of weight but when you have been 175-185 your whole life and shoot to 240. You feel it !!!! Lol

What were your weight points that halted your weight loss? Mine was from 380 down to 325 then 275. But I would go for more cheat carb load days when stalled out. Once ketones got back flowing out with a little tweek it was fine. 100 lbs is 3 clothing sizes, 5xl down to 3xl, 54 jean waist to 38, can bend over easier and not huff and puff. But I could always do that, not sure why anyone would put up with not being able to bend over or wipe #2 but it is an addiction, trillions poured into empty calories to make you eat more, convience.

Honestly I started losing weight without even thinking much about it. One day I realized I went down from 240 -230 & it played a great mental game on me that made me just say screw it. Let's keep it going 😂 the biking helped of course. But I also started lifting a little. Not too hard but enough to tone up and help with the weight loss. When I got to 200 my eating habits and choice of food was already common practice and took zero effort to follow.

That’s excellent, and just gave me a little motivation. I’m not a Clyde, but I am at my “winter weight” of 175. Usually by August I am closer to 170 or 172…keep it up!

A 10lb difference is pretty easy to accomplish, that is a daily variation with fluid and food intake, or heavier jeans like comparing cheap thin and light walmart jeans to heavier levi's.
I would weigh myself first thing in the morning, when I get out of bed, then right after the bathroom. But I dont put to much into that but its good to know, its better to know that eating real food instead of chemical ridden processed food in a package.
