Just a quick in-process update of some light wheels I am building: Stans ZTR 355 29er rims, American Classic disc hubs, Supercomp Spokes, alloy nips. Rear wheel: 815g, front wheel: 720g, or 1535g for the set. When building 26" wheels, I consider 1450 grams to be a weight weenie build, so the 29er penalty is not so great. The ZTRs came in below 400g each, the Amclassics come in below their advertised 130/225 gram weights, both were pleasant suprises on the scale.

I will be mounting Notread - oops Notube - 29er Crows on these with the yellow tape to complete the weight weenie experience. I have a couple weighing in about 375 grams each. After completing them and thrashing them on may favorite secret trail in Southern California (there are a few of them out there), I will take pics and give a full report.
