never tried, but i have a ti 96er that is currently run with 650b's

Unfortunately the Trek 69er 3x9 has already an almost-too-high BB with the stock 26" rear wheel.

If you meant just the frame ( and I think that is what you were asking) I can't help, But my 17.5 69r built up ( factory) was 23lbs no peddles but with tubes.

My large 19.5 was 25lbs pretty much flat on. Stock frame is right around 6lbs if I remember correctly after rebuilding it this winter.

6lbs! that is TOOO Heavy! a medium carver 96er is about 4.5 lbs.

Heh its a heavy bike! For a SS hardtail anyways. 5.5 - 6 is right about where I had the large 19.5 but it was on the ole bathroom scale so it's not terribly accurate. Wouldnt surprise me if it was closer to 5-5.5.
