5 Nisene drops on some moist yet highly grippy dirt. What you kids call hero dirt. Pretty much perfection on all the descents. Probably do it again tomorrow instead of Moto. Giddyup.
Hey Ancient…..Kennedy today with Dr. Dan. The Oak tree has had some surgery but will not go down without a fight! View attachment 1958301

When I plan to get ice cream after a ride it gets me excited. If I knew I would get to eat this food after a ride, 10 minutes in I’d be like, “ok, is it time to head back for lunch yet?” Lol, looks amazing.Had a great ride with my kid in Aptos!!! And then we had some parking lot food that made us forget about the ride.

Yea, I was off piste most of the time, trying to avoid the mudbaths, which I was not really expecting. Under cover the trails were dry, but out in the Valley, yes, very muddy and soft. Elizabethtown up to the Martis Dam wasn't too bad.If you took that photo around 1pm today then I'm off in the background on my gravel bike.
If anyone's reading this and thinking about a quick spin around that scenic loop in Martis Valley then skip it - too soft. If you need something mellow then visit Emigrant trail. Dirt there is perfect.
Hey Ancient…..
You ok there??
Looks like you’re outta breath or something.
Or holding up the tree??
😵💫
Racin against that clock is gonna kill ya I tell ya.Yes tired ... today not yessirday Tone. Full blast 27:15 to the Oak tree today on the Salsa. 1:16 faster than the Ripley once I made up the 21 seconds slower than Gears to the 5 minute hairpin.
