Got out early with Archie.

Did a couple mid afternoon shuttle laps to confirm the amazing conditions. A+!

First time out on the bike in about a month I think. Beautiful day out. Tis the season for some small snow patches here and there but not enough of that to be an issue. Dirt was fantastic, but the twigs and branches and crud sprinkled across the trail was a bit annoying. Good day.

I just drove down Hwy 9 and it's worse than Memorial Weekend.

I should have stayed in bed. Went out early thinking the homies were sleeping in, took the Epic wanting to ride epic ****, loose crank ( long story ) meant a trip to the shop to drop that bike off. Walked home, threw the Tallboy on the truck and went out to upper Empire grade to meet up with the boys, rode a quick lap and a half before eating all the ****!

Hit up west Marin. Great ride bofax road is currently closed to cars and make a great bike route to the ridge. Conditions were near perfect.

BAR association is trying to do more meetings that don’t center around alcohol, so they have been doing monthly hikes. I agreed to lead a bike ride. Bad news is only one person showed. The good news is he showed up with an Ibis Mojo and rides. I was really worried someone was going to show up with a 15 year old Walmart bike with flat tires.

Was it perfect for riding today or what? Couldn't ask for better weather IMHO. Same old Long Ridge lap. Only one small, unavoidable muddy spot on Peters Creek trail. Hero dirt everywhere else.

Rode in this AM, a buddy and I worked an hr. then rode some more. Superb trail and digging conditions.
Rode home grabbed the wife and headed down to walk the beach saw the sunset.

Auburn trail conditions were berry berry awesome this weekend.
Connector Trail on Saturday:

Got a late start on Sunday and only rode 7.5 miles, but climbed 2K in that distance so it was a decent workout. 2x down Eastside was fun times in the Nor Cal!
