Spent some time clearing the access trail to an old sandy favorite on Monday and have been riding every day since. With the big rain set to come tomorrow real dirt throwing will get off to a bang over the next few weeks. Heading down to Aptos to enjoy the day in a few hours.

We rode up Dogmeat / Priest rock trail today and it was beautiful out there in Los Gatos. Barely wet at all but that changes tomorrow. LG Man is in training for this years no dab Dogmeat. The rain will make for a great start for opening day on Dogmeat but slower trail conditions for the 20/40 under Kennedy Challenge. I was the tail gunner today.

Anyone get out to Ord? Seems to be the only option for tomorrow morning, not sure they have gotten enough rain to make the sand good.

Today was all time above Aptos. Low key greasy, a decent amount of organic material sitting on top of some black tar.

We made the best of it.

Spent the morning and early afternoon installing trailer park siding and cleaning gutters, then a short loop with my favorite girl to ride with.

Fort Ord was great today but supposed to rain pretty much all day tomorrow. Unfortunately the popular downhill trails, especially those used in Sea Otter are in the worse shape I’ve ever seen them.

There’s a very small chance of a very small window early. Just wondering if enough rain has fallen down there to start to consolidate the sand. Thanks for the beta!

Sadly last month I had to Bury my little girl she was 13 years old and suffering from we believe cancer. A huge loss to me and my family and many of my riding buddies too. Dogs are quite simply awesome and often our closest and best friends

Sorry for your loss. 13 is a long life for a GSD. I lost my male years ago to lymphoma when he was 5. I currently have a mismatched pair, but unfortunately the white one does not have the drive or stanima to do rides. The black and red is extremely high drive and is good for about 8 miles, come home and wants to play more.

Cuties. I never wanted a longhair, now wouldn’t have any other. Way easier to clean up after than short hairs.
