I'm passing through the area and planning to ride at Blue Mounds State Park this Wed. Anyone free to show an out of towner around the park? I'll be leaving CO mid-morning tomorrow, so I'm hoping to be there and riding mid-afternoon.

Hi,

I suggest posting on the madcitydirt.org forum to maximize the change of a local seeing this. The forum also has the latest map which contains more than any signs in the park.

Both the weather forecast and my own work forecast are not promising for the moment. I could only be there later in the day if at all but I've been one of the trail workers there for years and know my way around.

I just got beat the heck up over there. Landing on rocks is unforgiving. If I weren't babysitting my sister's kids tomorrow I'd be there!

Hi,

Trail head is the swimming pool parking lot.

I'm old 'n slow so don't worry. I go fast on down hill stuff but never on the up. It's about people having fun, knowing about the trails and using them so don't worry and have some fun.

You go straight over the gravel construction and turn right after the park entrance.

hey thanks, but i live all the way in kewaskum and unless this is bluemound in milwaukee, I don't even know for sure where we're talking about. Can I get some more information?

Talking about the awesome set of mountain bike trails at Blue Mound State Park. None other like them in the midwest......Tough, challenging, rocky, lots of elevation, and a heck of a lot of fun :thumbsup:

I think I ran into the 6pm group on Wed. Sadly, I had already agreed to meet the family that evening. Fun little set of trails there at Blue Mound for ripping around on the SS.
