I am having a bit of trouble with the 2 mercruiser stern drives in my boat. Thinking or repowering with a single V8. Anyone know have any experience with sterndrives or know somebody in the industry?

Do you still need 2 drives for steering? Assume if 2 drives they will run form 1 shaft?
Bit messy, unless you convert to single drive with bigger prop.

Yeah, I won powerball last week... now I don't need to work any more and my life is just fabulous... take delivery of my new Volvo next week... no more brand name weetbix.... a new boat with a single drive...
