Snuck out to shoot DH practice on Friday. Missed the pros but got some good Jr. X and Expert action, including this graceful swan dive into the waterfall.

Last year I saw this happen about 30 times, I only saw it once this year, because they cut out the big root that would send riders over like this.

I was standing where the grimacing guy was for most of the pro women's. That is the look I had on my face most of the time. Little Niagra is a quite impressive to watch!

I'm not sure if I have quite what you're asking for. But here are a couple more photos that show it a little better. A real wide shot that shows the whole thing wouldn't have actually made a very good photo, I think. So I shot sort of tight.

Thanks, Theo! I wasn't planning on going. I was in SLC to visit with my girlfriend. But I decided to go shoot practice on Friday. And that's all I did. Sorry I didn't see you. Forrest told me you were there.

Not sure about Sonoma yet. Not so psyched about it. I'd rather go ride. But I might go.

Not sure if I told you, but I finally watched the video. It rules. I want more Oaktown street weirdness, though! Those are my favorite parts :thumbsup:

is that waterfall just for the race, or if it is actaully on a trail, which one? im wondering because im planning on going up to dv in a couple weeks, and wanna see if i can get down in one piece.
