Looking for a light and small back water pack for racing. I was looking at the hydrapak air scoop but its discontinued.

Any recommendations?

What size were you looking for? For XC races 2hrs or so I like the 50oz camelbak. It's light and does the job. It has a little room for a multi-tool, patch kit, etc. http://www.camelbak.com/Sports-Recreation/Packs/2011-Hydrobak.aspx

I like the Deuter packs. They sit off of your back allowing ventilation, and the use a belly/ waist band to keep the lower part of the pack from sliding around.

I use a small version of a camelbak 70 oz. The ventilated packs sure do look nice though.

Check out osprey. Somewhat new to the biking game but have been making packs for years. They have some really cool packs.The thing i like the most is the magnetic hose clip instead of fumbling around trying to clip in the camelbak hose.

I just used my new HydroLite yesterday. It's light, comfortable and has the added bonus of a insulated bladder compartment that will keep your drink hot or cold. I'm looking forward to testing this featre out this summer.
